The sound of the R 12 nineT comes from the completely revised exhaust system. Cool: the chrome-plated manifold with front silencer. Clean: the dual-branch rear silencer with conical mufflers and an electropolished finish.

For the first time, the boxer has been equipped with a shift assistant. This is part of the optional comfort package. It enables smooth, fast gear changes without operating the clutch, thus increasing dynamics and riding comfort.

Upon request, the R 12 nineT arrives in the digital age: With the optional Digital Display, the round instruments are replaced by a 3.5" micro TFT display, which ensures clear legibility even in bright light conditions thanks to its high resolution.
